Lindsey Yung
A Statement from Lindsey

Well, we did it. I have never had such an amazing time recording a project. I seriously LOVED making this album and I am so proud of what we are about to release into the world. I hope you all love it. These are my most favorite songs. Anyone who knows me at all knows that I LOVE CHRISTMAS. Here are my “Thank Yous.”

To Rainier Dizon for being such an amazing friend and first class pianist. He added such wonderful warmth and dictated some of the arrangements with his impeccable ear for music.

To Chad Tuthill for adding the low end to this album. His musicianship on multiple instruments always astounds me. He is infinitely talented and the fact that he chooses to play music with me always shocks and humbles me. He is and always will be one of my dearest friends.

To Erdis Maxhelaku for adding the cello parts that make so many of these songs that much more grand in their sound. He is one of the most gifted cellists I’ve seen and I feel lucky to play with him regularly. He’s also always a blast to hang out with, so I couldn’t ask for more from him… except I wish he’d quit smoking. ☺

And finally to Blake Darling. THANK YOU for everything. Blake has become one of my best friends. He has an ear for music that is rare. He’s a stunning multi-instrumentalist and shines behind the scenes as an engineer, co-producer and mastering genius. He has such a unique gift for bringing the best out of songs and arranging/producing them so that their potential comes to full fruition. Blake trusts me as a singer and musician and that is so important in a collaborative effort. He also put up with my craziness, and for that, I'm forever grateful.

Can’t wait to start working on “Yuletide Songbook, Volume II!” OH YEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!
